Last Year's Event
This glamorous red carpet event, held at the prestigious Victoria & Albert Museum in London, is attended by a host of celebrities and attracts lots of paparazzi and film crews, eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite specs-wearing stars. What's more, 2009 marked Specsavers' 25th anniversary so there was even more reason to celebrate at the grand final.

Hosted by Ben Shephard and Jenni Falconer, the evening included a fashion catwalk show, a charity auction and the announcement of the Celebrity Specs Wearers of the Year, as well as the presentation of the Spectacle Wearer of the Year.
Daniel Harris, from Birmingham, was the Specsavers 2009 Spectacle Wearer of the Year voted winner. Daniel says: "The awards were absolutely spectacular. It was amazing to be a part of such a fantastic event to mark Specsavers' 25th anniversary and to take part in the 25 years of fashion show in my specs and edgy outfits."
"Everyone looked brilliant and the competition was tough, so I am stunned to have won the modelling contract and Caribbean holiday. I will remember the occasion for the rest of my life."
